This procedure will follow along the same lines as training cancellations during the week.

Game Day Rained Out Procedure!

1. First and foremost CESA officials will do everything they can NOT to cancel any games on the weekends.  You could imagine with the amount of teams in the league how difficult it would be to reschedule games.  Lightning and fields deemed ’unplayable’ will be the main cause for cancellations.  Rain means ’Game On’ unitl further notice!

2. In the event of Inclement weather MeSa Soccer Complex officials will update their fields status by 7:30am on Saturday and 11am on Sunday. CESA Weather Hotline: (864) 288.0980

3. If the MeSa soccer complex is closed, Carolina FC will update CFC members in the following manner:
       a. A cancellation notice will be posted on the home page of the CFC website: www.CarolinaFC.net. 
       b. A mass email will be sent out to all members and coaches will notify their team managers.
       c.  In the event that we get a last minute cancellation notice, again your respective coach will notify their team managers and the team manager will make a round of phone calls to all team members. 

4.  Most of our teams play 2 games over the weekend.  Another scenario that we need to be aware of is that your first game may be cancelled but your second game may go ahead as scheduled or delayed.  Coaches and I will provide updates that we recieve from CESA officials to our respective team managers who will in turn get that information to their team members via phone.  Please DO NOT assume the whole day is cancelled!

More importantly, everyone is expected to show up to their scheduled game until told otherwise!  There may be an occasion where decisions for cancellations will have to be made at the fields.  That is how mother nature plays her little games on the weekends!

Check your email before you leave your house.
Don’t forget your cell phone to get a last minute cancellation phone call or updates throughout the day.
Bottom line is if you don’t hear from us,  then see you at the fields!
