Is a United Way campaign underway at your place of employment? If so, consider making a Donor’s Choice to direct a portion of your contribution to the CFC Soccer Complex. As a 501(c)3 organization, we are approved by the United Way to receive tax deductible contributions through the United Way. We are listed at this time under our former name: Spartanburg Youth Soccer Club (SYSC). All United Way contributions received go into the SYSC Soccer Complex Fund.
Here’s how to direct your contribution to the development of the soccer complex:
Request a “Donor’s Choice” card from your employer if you did not receive one with your contribution materials.
- Enter SYSC or Spartanburg Youth Soccer Club on the line under “Specific Organizations.".
- Enter the dollar amount you are directing to SYSC.
- Enter SYSC’s address: SYSC, PO Box 170343, Spartanburg, SC 29301. United Way has the correct address; the funds will get to us even if you don’t fill in the address.
Special instructions for State employees:
Your form may ask you to supply a code number issued to SYSC by the SC Secretary of State’s Office. SYSC’s code number is 11184. (This is a 5-digit number; do not be alarmed if your form shows spaces for 6 digits; length of state-issued codes vary.) SYSC is registered with the SC Secretary of State and SYSC will appear on the list on their web site when they have received notification of the first contribution to SYSC by a state employee. (We are happy to report that we know a state employee has contributed to SYSC so our name will appear soon on the Sec. of State’s website!)
